What makes the Non Stick Surface so superior?

So what does the "Total Ti Titanium Hi Low Food Release System" actually mean? Circulon was the first cookware range that was introduced with "Total" food release - effectively a non stick surface so revolutionary it was patented. The "Hi Low" technology is actually the wave effect you see in the pan and when combined with a state of the art "Ti Titanium" non stick formula, it creates the ultimate non stick surface for Stainless Steel Pans. In fact, Circulon are so proud of their innovation, they guarantee it will outlast all other non stick cookware.

Circulon's non stick surfaces also allow trapped moisture to escape for even browning when cooking and is ideal for deglazing meats. The Total Ti Titanium Hi Low Food Release System protects the non stick surface from abrasion resulting in exceptional durability.

Why is Stainless Steel suitable for making Pans?

The performance of stainless steel cookware is determined by how well the pan spreads heat, preventing hot spots and therefore preventing food from burning. To disperse heat, an aluminium disc is used which conducts heat superbly - the thicker the disc the better heat will be conducted and the better the pan will perform. This disc is Impact Bonded meaning the aluminium disc is spread to the outside edges of the pan (by a combination of high heat and high pressure) eliminating hot spots in the corners.

Stainless Steel is particularly sought after by professional cooks due to it being a hard wearing, durable material plus has the added benefit of being extremely stylish with a brilliant shine. Our Circulon Steel Elite range uses 18/10 Stainless Steel, the highest quality stainless steel used in cookware. The number 10 stands for 10% Nickel which means it has a highly durable, rust resistant, bright lustre and stops tarnishing. The number 18 stands for the Chromium content (the same for all stainless steel) and prevents rusting. You can't get better than 18/10 Stainless Steel for cookware.
